The Job Development Program at CCP works closely with individuals with significant disabilities, employers and numerous community agencies in Northern Colorado as ideal job matches are identified for job seekers. Professional Job Developers have years of experience and an impressive success record in connecting referred individuals to individualized jobs in the community that match their strengths, abilities, interests and support needs. When a job is offered, Job Developers help the employer put in place reasonable accommodations, as needed, that will promote ultimate success for the employee with a disability. In addition, CCP Job Developers work closely with businesses as employer incentives are made available. In the event that the targeted business requests education around disability support issues in the workplace, Job Developers and CCP staff will provide these services. CCP takes pride in placing participants in jobs that are not only a good match for the participant, but that meet the identified needs of the employer, creating a ‘win-win’ result where everyone involved is pleased with the employment outcome.
