Community-Based Occupational Therapy
CCP occupational therapists are available to work with referred participants and their families in the home and community, guiding participants as they strive to live independently and pursue their activities of daily living efficiently and effectively. Community-based occupational therapy may include identifying and practicing compensatory strategies that will allow the participant to shop for and prepare food, care for the home, care for children, conduct personal budgeting and banking, connect with community resources, establish and maintain relationships and access the community.
