Ergonomic Evaluation

CCP occupational therapists are skilled at conducting ergonomic evaluations of workstations, worksites, and home activity areas. The purpose of these evaluations is to identify ideal computer workstation and worksite set-ups and positioning to avoid stress, pain and/or injury, as well as to make recommendations regarding ergonomically correct furniture, equipment, home arrangement, and supplies. In the home environment, an occupational therapist will identify and make recommendations regarding kitchen and activity space arrangements and adaptations that will promote increased safety, personal stamina and energy preservation, and independence.
